Current Series: Imagine...
My kids have incredible imaginations! I love watching them create, dream, and play make-believe! They imagine that they are Star Wars and Disney characters, and pretend to be adults and parents. They will bring home from school pictures of what they want to be. They sit in the car with pen and paper doodling and imagining new creatures, ships, cars, people and how the world should be through their eyes. Nothing seems beyond what they can imagine. When did we, as grown ups, lose or misplace that ability to imagine? We are too often content that this is just the way things are. We tend to think this is life and stop imagining what could be. I want to Imagine again!

God desires so much more for us than to live a boring, mundane existence. His desire for us is to find and experience life in him – life overflowing with faith, dreams, creativity, and imagination. What if we started to Imagine again! Imagine what we could be with the Holy Spirit working in us and through us. Imagine if people stopped playing church and would truly “be” the church. Imagine the church turning the world upside down like it did in its early days. Can you picture it? Then get this…Ephesians tells us that God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine! Let’s unleash our imaginations and then watch God do more than we could imagine!
